There is just something about the power and majesty of a waterfall that fascinates and captivates the human psyche.
I took this shot a few weeks ago at Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon on the way back from the anniversary trip The Husband took me on to Park City, Utah.
I’ve been to a variety of waterfalls over the course of my life. The highlights thus far have probably been Havasu Falls in the Havasupai tribal lands in the Grand Canyon, and Wailua Falls on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.
I’ve never been to this area of the country, but one day I hope to take my family to visit one of the most world’s most iconic waterfalls.
While in all actuality a waterfall is anything but tranquil, there is something completely tranquil about listening to the rush of the water and the moaning roar as it crashes against the rocks below. It is in places like this where I have the strongest feelings of inner peace and oneness with the world around me.
I just found out that Radisson hotels has recently opened a new hotel in Niagara Falls. Located on the banks of the upper Niagara River, the Radisson Hotel Niagara Falls-Grand Island features rooms and suites with walk-out balconies and views of the river and the countryside.
How gorgeous would this venue be for a wedding or wedding reception! Did you know that the Radisson Hotel Niagara Falls-Grand Island has a dedicated team of event planners for Niagara Falls wedding and similar events>
Because the weather can get pretty darn cold during those fall and winter months, the Radisson Hotel Niagara Falls-Grand Island is equipped with an indoor pool that the whole family can enjoy. I personally love that there are lap lanes! Swimming is my preferred mode of exercise, but it is so rare to find lap lanes at hotel pools.
Now, tell me. Have you ever been to Niagara Falls? What was your favorite thing about your visit?
You guys! I’m so excited about this next part! I get to give away a 2-night stay to one of you! How awesome is that?!
