In the past year I have been on a serious health kick. I started a rigorous work out program and I also started to take a look at my eating habits and what is in the foods that I eat. Do you even know what is in the foods that you eat? I sure didn’t and I am just shocked at what is in some of my food choices! Everything from food additives, preservatives, and allergens to even the fat and sugar content of the foods that I eat and I feed to my children. I know that not all foods are unhealthy or bad for us but I do know that we have healthier alternatives. I don’t eat all organic or vegan (mostly because it is costly and my kids wont eat it) but I do try to make healthier choices when I have those options. And Goody Good Stuff is one of those options that we can make when choosing snacks for our children.
Goody Good Stuff is an all-new natural gummy candy range that is made with a plant derived bio-gum technology, which eliminates the need for animal-based gelatin, which most traditional gummy sweets use.
Over the last 15 years, we have worked to develop a food technology, which allows us to remove the gelatin from Gummy sweets while still producing a deliciously smooth and clear consistency. This makes our product range a first and only of its kind in the market. In addition, we have taken out all of the artificial colors and flavors and use only natural fruit and vegetable extracts in our range. Lastly, we have removed all of the other harmful food additives and possible allergens such as gluten, to create a truly all natural alternative, which are;
The sweets combine the highest quality blend of ingredients including natural fruit juices and extracts which create a beautifully clear consistency and a superior taste experience. The entire line is Halal and Kosher certified.
Okay so now that you have read all that you are wondering what are they. Well, they are basically just a gummy candy or treat. My kids describe them basically as a fruit snack. They come in many different flavors. They have
- Summer Peach
- Strawberry Cream
- Sour Mix and Match
- Koala Gummy Bears
- Sour Koala Gummy Bears
- Sour Fruit Salad
- Cola Breeze
- Tropical Fruit
I know my kids compared them to a fruit snack but I think they are more of a candy that you would pick up at a convenient store for a treat. They are gummy and yummy! You would never believe that they are all natural and plant derived! My favorite one is the Strawberry Cream while my son liked the Soar Koala Gummy Bears. (I’m not a fan of sour so he can eat them all!) And just in case you don’t trust my opinion just listen to all their fans! They would have to be yummy if they have been featured on Britain’s Next Top Model, recommended by Oprah, and featured in Women’s Health and Fitness. Another thing that I really love about these are they are allergen free! My friend asked me the other day what kind of treat her daughter should take to school for her birthday. Apparently her class has egg, peanuts and milk allergy children in it. And guess what was the first thing that came to my mind? Goody Good Stuff! They are perfect for everyone! Check out my son’s big smile when I let him have a snack the other afternoon. Usually I just let him have fruit or string cheese but not this time. He got a delicious treat and I could feel good about letting him have it!
If you are thinking about trying Goody Good Stuff I totally think you should. They are such a healthier and smarter option than a random bag of candy. They can be purchased at most 7Eleven stores and you can also get them on Amazon.com. And coming on October 15, 2013 Amazon will have 1 oz packages available that would be perfect for all those cute little trick or treaters! Also check them out on facebook and twitter!
