Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 #GracoSafety Recap & Babies R Us Gift Card #Giveaway

This last Saturday was a blast!

I met up with Melissa from Home Grown Families at Babies R Us in Fort Worth, Texas to talk about Graco’s new SnugRide Click Connect 40 car seat.

During the event I taught attendees about Graco’s new SnugRide Click Connect 40 infant car seat.  The Click Connect 40 car seat is unlike any I’ve ever seen before.

Attentive moms and dads learning about the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40

In 2011 the American Academy of Pediatrics released a new recommendation that all toddlers should remain rear facing until a minimum of 2 years of age.  This was prompted by a 2007 study that found that children under 2 years were 75% less likely to die or be seriously injured in a car accident if they were riding rear facing.

Because Graco cares about the safety and comfort of infants and children they designed a new SnugRide Click Connect 40 infant car seat.  The click connect 40 car seat not only accommodates a greater weight range than any other infant seat, it also has an adjustable base with 8 recline positions that give the child more leg room as he or she grows.  You can visit the Graco Safety website for more information and pictures of the car seat.

The SnugRide Click Connect 40 can be paired with Graco Click connect strollers, too!

Toward the end of the presentation all the attendees got to weigh in on their favorite features of the SnugRide Click Connect 40 car seat.  Here were some of the top favorite features:

  • Easy one-step “Click Connect” . Set the seat in the base, hear the click, and you’re done.  To remove squeeze the handle on the back of the seat and lift the seat out.  Set the seat in a Click Connect stroller, hear the click, and you’re done.
  • 8 recline positions to give your child more legroom as they grow.
  • Slide up kick plate/foot rest to protect the back of your seat from dirty little feet.

The wrap up was the most exciting part!  At each the morning and afternoon sessions we picked a lucky mom/couple to win their own Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 car seat!  Here is Mommy Moxie, our morning winner!

What a great day!

The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.
