So I admit I had a great prejudice against the Hunger Games books. How could anyone enjoy reading books about teenagers pitted against one another in a battle to the death?
Then, at the insistence of The Husband, I saw the movie. The movie blew me away. I was so impressed by the story line that I read all the books…in 3 days! I’m not much of a reader at this point in my life and I am very picky about the books I read so for me to read a series in just a few short days says something about the quality of the story.
I’m so excited for the Hunger Games to come out on DVD and Blu-Ray!!!!
It’s release day is tomorrow August 18th! Will you be renting it? I know I will (well, once we have a TV and DVD player again, I will)!

We picked up Hunger Games tonight at Redbox. Just waiting for dinner to settle before we get going. Because what is a movie without popcorn?
