Get Kids Excited for Bath Time! Glow In The Dark Bath!

My pediatrician sends out a monthly newsletter that I receive each month. As I was reading through last months email it had some cute ideas of activities that you could do with your kids. One of them that I really wanted to try. It was a glow in the dark bath. This is a really cheap fun idea for the younger kids that still take baths.

I found some glow sticks from the dollar bins at Target. (I’ve even seen packs at the grocery store and the dollar store too so I’m sure you could find them anywhere). So when it was bath night I filled the bath tube up with water, turned out the lights, and then I let the kids crack the glow sticks. Then we threw the glow sticks in the bath tub and watched them light up the bath!

Since it is summer time and there is still light at night my husband found some cardboard and put up in the window to make it a little darker. The kids were so excited to get in and play. They had so much fun that they keep asking to do it again!

If your looking for an easy, fun activity to do with the kids or even an idea on how to end the bath time battle try it out! But if you do I am warning you that they might not want to get back out of the bath!
