When you move into a house that is bigger than the one you came from there are a lot of household items to purchase. We recently moved from a 1000 sq. ft. house to a 1700 sq. ft. house. 7oo extra square feet may not seem like that much, but when you’re increasing your house size by two thirds…it’s a lot. One of the things that has amazed me is how many rugs we need! In our new house we have a short hallway type entry way. It is ceramic tile and without any rug it is occasionally cold, often dusty, and almost always uninviting.

Thankfully FoFlor.com came to the rescue! When I first browsed FoFlor.com I was intrigued by their unique flooring options. The prints on the rugs are often bright, bold, and picturesque. I really like the bold Scout Designs like this one…

This would look great in a girls room or a craft room

Unfortunately, the bold printed rugs don’t match our current decor. Thankfully FoFlor has a variety of styles to choose from. I chose this more subtle Magnolia Khaki MicroFibre rug. The color and print warm and compliment our entryway perfectly.

When I ordered the rug I really wasn’t sure what to expect. The website doesn’t really give you a feel for the actual look and feel of the rug. When my MicroFibre rug arrived I was a little surprised at how thin the rug is. The rugs are all backed by a rubber backing that adds a little cushion while providing slip resistance, but I did expect a little more plush. The flatness of the rug does make for easy cleaning, though. When the rug begins to get dirty I just take it outside and give it a good beating. I’m not sure how this would fare beneath the suction of a vacuum, but it would easy to clean with a vacuum attachment. All of the FoFlor rugs say machine washable so should be simple to just toss in the washing machine when it gets really dirty.

Overall, I really like our new MicroFibre rug by FoFlor.com. I love the print, and love that it stays put. It is very soft, and it is nice and easy to clean.
