The Scandle is a body massage oil candle that combines the potent scent of a candle with the relaxing comfort of essential oils. They are made from 100% natural ingredients. These massage candles are soy based, but are not as heavy, when applied, as some massage candles can be.
I had the opportunity to review Scandle’s new Shimmering Lotion Candle. This candle is the perfect touch for a romantic evening with your spouse, an indulgent foot massage, cuticle treatments, or simply use as a daily moisturizer. The candle melts at a gentle 2 degrees above body temperature so it’s not too hot when applied (though I wouldn’t apply it after it has been melting for 20 minutes).I received the travel size Shimmering Lotion Candle in Fig and Brown Sugar. I’m not usually a fan of food smelling lotions or candles, but this was heavenly! I loved the lotion too. My skin gets very dry in Utah during the winters. The lotion, when applied is so warm and soothing. It didn’t feel at all heavy, but it kept my skin feeling moisturized for many hours. I absolutely love the shimmer! The lotion is infused with shimmer that is supposed to help hide imperfections. I’m sure it does a great job hiding imperfections, but I’m just a sucker for anything that makes me shimmer.

The full size ($22.95) comes in a re-usable container with a pour spout that can be refilled with Scandle refill massage candles.
